How to Plan a Wedding
When it comes to planning a wedding most brides and grooms are inexperienced, and have many difficulties to decide where to start and more importantly where to stop. It is important to realize that planning a wedding can be very complicated and tricky. Therefore having a list would be a very good place to start. Not only it will serve as a guide to get you through the planning of this important day but it also helps you remember little details that most of us forget in the process. You want to be as organized as possible when planning your big event, becuase things weill get complicated and you will forget to invite uncle Bob to the wedding.
To make this difficult process a bit easier for you we would like to suggest a list of things to consider when you are planning your wedding.
- The Guest List & the Wedding Stationary (Note: Your guest list is probably something that you’d like to take your time and be really careful when you decide whom you are inviting and whom you are not. Off course we all know that it is not always possible to invite every single person that we know unless there is an unlimited budget which sadly most of us don’t have that luxury!)
- Ceremony Music, Reception Music, & Flowers (Flowers are probably one of the easiest things to lose track of when planning a wedding. Flowers are pretty and every bride likes her day to be as pretty as possible. But when do you know if you’ve gone too far with the flowers?)
- Photography and Videography (VERY IMPORTANT!!! You really need to consider this point on your list creafully and thoughtfully. This is not something that you want to make a quick and uninformed decision about)
- Rehearsal, Ceremony, and Transportation
- Reception & Catering
- Weeding Attire
- Gifts, Parties, & The Honeymoon
- Financial Planning
So are you overwhelmed and a bit nervous about this huge responsibility of planning and organizing so many different things in a very limited amount of time?
Tusrt me, even if you start planning 6 months in advance you’ll always wish you had started 2 months earlier, or you had an extra 48 hours to make sure that your orders were not rushed or you had 8 more hours to sleep before the big day.
For some of you out there planning and organizing is easier but for some others its not so intuitive and easy. In fact it is very very difficult and overwhelming. That is why we recommend you to take the time and read the article “How to plan a Wedding” which explains in great detail how to go about each of the points in the above list. This will give you a better idea of how to effectively tackle each point in the list and plan the wedding that you’ve always wanted.
